Carlos Kelly McClatchy Lecture Series Prints

Drue has been commissioned to create original paintings to commemorate seven of the Annual Carlos Kelly McClatchy Memorial Lectures and Symposia. Since 1964 distinguished leaders from the field of journalism have participated in this important annual series of lectures and symposia. The most pressing issues regarding the performance of the mass media in the world today have been addressed and discussed. Drue has been asked to distill the themes of each series in the visually dynamic brush strokes of Sumi-e. Participants in this prestigious series have included individuals from the New York Times, NPR, The NewsHour, CNN, Google, The McClatchy Company, the Washington Post, US News and World Report, The Annenberg School of Communication, and the LA Times.
