Cloud Islands

Cloud Islands are custom sculptures with multi-layered mirrored shapes that transform the viewer and the environment around them. Every silhouette is traced with edges of custom color chosen with the collector — lines of deep pigment that catch the sun and set the reflections aglow.

Mounted against the open sky, the islands dissolve into what they mirror: clouds drift through mirrored clouds, trees lean into the frame, and the viewer surfaces among them. Like the Ambrosias, a Cloud Island is never the same work twice — it changes with the weather, the season, and whoever stands before it.
